The location

The international conference "Konstanz Symposium Chemical Biology" will take place at the Steigenberger Inselhotel, which is ideally located on a small private island. However, the location is close to the city centre and can easily reached from the main station. 

The building itself is well known as a historical site of the city of Konstanz: in the Middle Ages it was a Dominican monastery. Only few people know that even the history of the University of Konstanz started here: in 1966, after developing a concept, the University of Konstanz began its work in a wing of the Inselhotel.

Today, the Inselhotel provides a unique environment for all types of meetings.
