Lake Constance - a European Region
From a birdís eye view it is hard to tell where one city begins and where the other one ends. They have grown together and are yet separated by a borderline: Constance on the German side and Kreuzlingen on the Swiss side of the border. Together they represent the largest economic area at Lake Constance.
The University of Konstanz is located in this beautiful region in the German-Austrian-Swiss border triangle, surrounded by Lake Constance and the Swiss Alps and thus in the middle of one of Europe´s most popular holiday regions.
The historical city with its medieval town ensures a diverse offer of culture and leisure activities. The lake and mountains are the ideal location for sporting endeavours – from sailing and hiking to mountain climbing and wintersports. Zurich with its international airport can be reached quickly by car or train.
